Kelly Lynch was discovered
on an elevator—talk about going up! This leggy
beauty first kicked into the biz as a model for
the Elite agency in the early '80s. She quite
rightly made her first onscreen performance in a
documentary about modeling, Portfolio (1983).
After bit supporting parts in Bright Lights, Big
City (1988) and Cocktail (1988), Kelly made the
leap to stardom with a part in the Gus Van
